Interviewing for Overnight Positions:

Lab Aides

Responsible for receiving samples, distributing work, and preparing work environment for the accurate and timely processing of patient specimens, including sending specimens to for testing.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 6 months experience working in a laboratory environment

Lab Assistants

Responsible for accessioning patient sample information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), accurately according to received requisitions.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 6 months experience working in a laboratory environment

Clinical Laboratory Scientists

Responsible for handling all infectious disease testing with a goal of providing 100% accuracy when processing samples. Performs all essential functions such as laboratory safety, Good Documentation Practice (GDP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), specimen processing and troubleshooting maintaining productivity and quality assigned metrics, and providing effective communication with laboratory management and team.

Qualifications:

  • Current state of KY license
  • 1+ years clinical laboratory experience

Lab Leadership Roles

Responsible for ensuring that samples are tested promptly, accurately, and proficiently, while adhering to applicable CAP and CLIA regulations.  Perform essential functions such as: management of workflow of samples and promoting effective communication with Lab Management and Lab Personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Current state of KY license
  • 1 year previous leadership experience required
  • 2-4 years training and experience in high-complexity
    molecular testing
  • What to bring to this event–

    All attendees are required to bring a resume.
    For those interviewing for CLS or Lab Leadership roles, please also provide a copy of your transcripts, as a degree is required.
